In today’s world where the environment is at the forefront, we at Artesian are proud of the efficiency of our spas. The Platinum and Platinum Elite ranges both utilise the Patented “DirectFlow” and “Variable Flow Control”. What does this mean?
DirectFlow
Water is driven from our highly efficient Switchless pumps, through high flow plumbing with no 90 degree bends, direct to the jets. This eliminates the entwining network of plumbing lines and the traditional diverter valves used on all other manufacturers spas. The result is far less loss of power (waste of energy) caused by friction.
Variable Flow Control The innovative Variable Flow Control allows the spa user to control the level of massage pressure (water output) by conveniently adjusting the spa-side control. The VFC replaces the diverter valve used in traditionally built spas, unlike the diverter valve, the VFC does not rob water from one massage area to give more pressure to another. Instead, the VFC gives the user the ability to soften or increase the water flow in the desired section of the spa, offering remarkable massage control while retaining maximum potential performance.
With the VFC turned to Low the pumps are using 50% less electricity than all other spas with similar pumps!
The Platinum Elite Range of spas takes energy saving one stage further. With having a pump per therapy seat, 2 people can achieve an amazing hydrotherapy massage and consume a mere 5.5 amps!!!!!
